What the sources say

FoodKeeper gives leftover pizza 3 to 4 days in the fridge and 1 to 2 months in the freezer.1

FoodKeeper gives frozen pizza 12 months in the freezer and says to keep it frozen and, for safety, to cook it as directed.3

Once a frozen pizza has been cooked, FoodKeeper gives it 3 to 4 days in the fridge, the same as its entry for leftover pizza.31

In the freezer the gap is wide: FoodKeeper allows 1 to 2 months for leftover pizza against 12 months for frozen pizza.31

Refrigerated pizza dough sold in tube cans follows other rules: FoodKeeper and the Nebraska Extension chart both say to go by the use-by date on the package, and both advise against freezing it.45

The Nebraska chart also marks tube cans of biscuits, rolls and pizza dough as not safe at room temperature.5

CDC advises against eating raw dough or batter and names pizza among the doughs it means, along with cookies, cakes, pie crusts, tortillas and biscuits.6

Its advice is to bake raw dough before eating it, using the temperature and cooking time in the recipe or package directions.6
